We’re thrilled to announce that Abigail Welch has joined Peraza Dermatology Group as a Master Licensed Esthetician. Abigail will help clients achieve their skincare goals by using state-of-the-art equipment, tailored treatments, and high-quality products with a focus on enhancing body positivity and self-confidence for all patients.
Abigail joins our existing, talented group of providers, and has spent the last few months assisting the team to learn the clinical and cosmetic side of the practice. Abigail completed the 1200-Hour Master Esthetics program at Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics, the first accredited esthetics school in the country and the finest skin care training center in New England.
Dr. José Peraza described his team’s strategy and vision: “We are delighted to add this new suite of services to the practice, and to welcome Abigail to our team. We have considered adding esthiology services to our practice for some time. Abigail brings an appreciation for a collaborative, forward-looking approach to comprehensive skincare, as well as a demonstrated interest in providing skincare treatments with warmth and expertise. It is a pleasure to have her talents represented on our already strong and dynamic team.”
In her new role, Abigail will provide several new esthetic treatments, including facials, resurfacing peels, lash and brow enhancements, and full-service waxing, enabling PDG patients to access a more robust menu of skincare options and an all-inclusive skincare experience. She will support the dermatology and cosmetic team by providing at-home skincare education, including the types of products and procedures that might best fit their goals and support them in developing a comprehensive skincare routine that compliments in-office procedures and maximizes results.
Abigail shared, “I am eager to offer exemplary skincare services using the best medical grade products while also having the ability to consult with a team of expert skincare professionals about bigger skincare issues that could not be addressed in a traditional day spa setting. Together, our team will collaborate to create the best skincare approach for our patients, utilizing resources from every angle — essential medical treatments, results-driven cosmetic procedures, and medical-grade skincare services. Patients will be able to seamlessly supplement services such as BOTOX®, LED therapy, and IPL with regular facials for skincare maintenance, or can work with our team to address more significant skincare concerns — all within one team.”
We are also excited to introduce AlumierMD, a comprehensive medical skincare line, that includes state of the art, science-based, luxurious formulations with innovative delivery systems. These products address multiple skin concerns, deliver results, and perform progressively over time. All AlumierMD products are free from parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, artificial colors, and chemical sunscreen filters, and products are not tested on animals.
Dr. Dan Peraza elaborated, “We recognize that patients lead active, busy lives, and want to realize serious skincare results through a thoughtfully crafted and executed treatment plan, informed by experts. We appreciate that we will now have the ability to provide patients with an even higher level of post-surgery care, and we also look forward to welcoming new individuals to our practice — particularly those who currently prefer non-invasive skincare approaches. As they enjoy Abigail’s warm and knowledgeable skincare approach using the best in medical-grade product lines, they will also have the opportunity to learn more about procedures like BOTOX®, IPL, and thread lifts that they may be curious about as their skincare needs evolve.”
